Member Insight Series:
Mid-Rise Housing Reforms
Date: Thursday 25 September
Time: 3pm to 5pm
Venue: UDIA NSW Offices
Address: Ground Floor, 15 Castlereagh St, Sydney
UDIA NSW invites you to a special Member Insight Series event on the Mid-Rise Housing Policy. This session will present UDIA’s new policy paper, featuring data analysis prepared in partnership with Land Registry Services (LRS). The analysis provides early indicators of developer interest through title search activity, as well as insights into feasibility modelling and envelope testing that highlight the practical challenges in delivering viable projects under the reforms.
Following the presentation, a panel of leading experts will unpack the real-world barriers industry is facing — from feasibility constraints and design limitations — and discuss UDIA’s recommendations to ensure the reforms are workable and adopted by developers.
This is a must-hear discussion on how the mid-rise housing policy is being received by industry, and the changes they believe are needed to unlock more homes in mid-rise zones and accelerate delivery under the Housing Accord and beyond.
