Join Vivienne Albin, Director of Urban Renewal and Environment at Sydney Olympic Park Authority for an in-depth session on the proposed urban design, planning controls, and planned changes to the current Sydney Olympic Park urban structure. During the session you will have an opportunity to discuss and raise any questions you may have.
Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2050 proposes to deliver up to:
- 13,000 homes;
- 32,000 jobs;
- 5% to 10% affordable housing;
- new hotel accommodation;
- space for education and health;
- new community sports and leisure centres;
- new library and community hub;
- new cultural centre;
- 2 new school education sites;
- 7 new public spaces;
- 4 new sports fields and
- over 10 playgrounds.
The Sydney Olympic Park Master Plan 2050 is currently on exhibition together with a draft Explanation of Intended Effect (EIE) highlighting proposed amendments to planning controls and supporting technical studies.
