Join us for our Annual Western Sydney Luncheon to hear from Chris Hanger, CEO for the Greater Cities Commission, the agency driving Australia’s first global city region – the Six Cities Region in NSW - to deliver the benefits of global economic scale and local liveability. Chris will discuss his vision for the Greater Cities Commission and how feedback received on the Six Cities Discussion paper is being utilized. He will also discuss the next steps on engagement for the Region Plan and collaboration with industry.
We will also hear from guest speaker Angus Moore, Economist at REA Group. Angus will discuss the current state of the market in Western Sydney compared to the rest of NSW, including industry-leading insights into lead enquiries, housing demand, sales activity, prices and the current and future economic environment impacting the urban development industry.

Chris has worked in senior executive roles within the NSW Government for 10 years and previously worked with the Commonwealth Government in international trade and investment and has also worked at one of Australia’s top-tier law firms.

Angus joined PropTrack from economics consultancy AlphaBeta (now Accenture Strategy), where he drove customer value by combining strategy, data analytics and econometrics. Prior to that, Angus worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia, specialising in market forecasting, as well as the Department of Treasury.
